More needs to be done through television and newspaper advertisements, etc. to explain to the American people why raising any taxes in the middle of a recession is a bad idea and will hurt their chances, or maybe their children's chances, of getting a good job.

President Obama said the rich are paying lower taxes, as a percentage of their income, than the middle class. He should have fact-checked his talking points instead of making assumptions.
